Popcultr Marketing Summit, October 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

1.1 The Popcultr Marketing Summit is organised by Popcultr Ltd, trading as Experience12, registered in England and Wales, company number 08346770, registered office 2nd Floor, 15 Greek Street, London, W1D 4DP, United Kingdom. VAT number GB 156267984.

1.2 In these terms "we", "us" and "our" mean Popcultr Ltd. "You" and "your" mean the person buying a ticket. Buying a ticket forms a contract between you and us on these terms.

1.3 Tickets are sold through Ticket Tailor, which acts as our booking agent and processes payment. Your purchase is also subject to Ticket Tailor’s own terms of use.

2. The event and what your ticket includes

2.1 The Popcultr Marketing Summit takes place on Friday 23 October 2026 at ICC Capital Suite, ExCeL London, running from approximately 09:30 to 17:30, followed by a networking reception from 17:30.

2.2 Your ticket includes:

2.3 Your ticket does not include food, drink, travel, accommodation or any other cost.

3. Ticket types and eligibility

3.1 Tickets are sold in two categories.

3.2 Summiteer tickets are for people working in marketing for brands, rights holders, platforms, publishers, studios, developers, retailers and other organisations whose primary business is not selling services to the pop culture marketing industry.

3.3 Service provider tickets are for anyone working at an agency, consultancy, supplier, technology vendor, production company, media owner, research provider or any other organisation whose business includes selling services to the pop culture marketing industry. If your organisation would pitch for work from another attendee, you need a service provider ticket.

3.4 You are responsible for selecting the correct category. We may reclassify a booking made in the wrong category. Where we do, we will contact you and either invoice the difference or, if you prefer, cancel and refund the booking in full.

3.5 Alumni tickets are available by invitation only to people who have attended a previous edition, and require the access code we send you. They are not transferable to anyone who has not attended before.

3.6 Tickets are sold to people attending in a professional capacity. A work email address is required at checkout, and you must be 18 or over.

3.7 Buying a ticket is a direct purchase and your booking is confirmed under clause 4.3. We review every booking for fit with the room. If we decide a booking is not a fit, we will cancel it, refund you in full and tell you why.

4. Price, VAT and payment

4.1 All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the prevailing rate, currently 20 per cent.

4.2 A VAT invoice is issued automatically by email on purchase.

4.3 Payment is taken in full at the time of booking. Your booking is not confirmed until payment has cleared and you have received a confirmation email.

4.4 Prices change by tier and by date. The price you pay is the price displayed at the point of purchase. We do not apply a lower price retrospectively, and moving to a later tier does not entitle you to a refund of the difference.

5. Cancellation by you

5.1 Tickets are non-refundable.

5.2 If you do not attend, the full price remains payable and is not refunded. This applies whatever the reason, including illness, travel disruption, a change of job or a diary clash. In almost every case the transfer in clause 6 is the better option and we would rather you used it.

5.3 Tickets are sold to businesses and to people acting in a professional capacity, not to consumers. The rights given to consumers by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, including the 14 day right to cancel, do not apply to this purchase.

5.4 If those Regulations were found to apply, this is in any event a contract for a service to be provided on a specific date, for which the 14 day right to cancel does not apply.

5.5 We may make an exception at our discretion. If you cannot attend, contact us at info@popcultr.events as far in advance as possible.

6. Transfers and name changes

6.1 Tickets are issued to a named attendee.

6.2 If you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket at no charge to a colleague at the same organisation by contacting us at info@popcultr.events no later than 17:00 on Tuesday 20 October 2026. We cannot make changes after that point because the MCM Friday Industry Pass list closes then and passes are issued in the name on the ticket.

6.3 The replacement attendee must meet the eligibility criteria in clause 3. If the transfer moves the booking into a higher priced category, we will invoice the difference before confirming it. We do not refund a difference where the transfer moves into a lower priced category.

6.4 If you change organisation between buying your ticket and the event, your ticket is still yours and you may still attend. Tell us at info@popcultr.events so your MCM Friday Industry Pass and your badge are correct. The restriction in 6.2 applies to sending someone else in your place, not to you moving jobs.

6.5 You must tell us about a transfer in advance. Someone arriving in place of the named attendee without prior notice may be refused entry, and we cannot issue them an MCM Friday Industry Pass on the day.

6.6 Tickets may not be resold, offered publicly, given away as a prize, or used as an inducement to buy anything else.

7. The MCM Friday Industry Pass

7.1 Your ticket includes an MCM Friday Industry Pass giving access to MCM London Comic Con on Friday 23 October 2026 only. It does not give access on any other day of the event.

7.2 The pass is issued in the name of the attendee named on the ticket at the point the pass list closes, and cannot be transferred or used by anyone else.

7.3 The pass is issued by ReedPop and is subject to their terms and conditions and to the venue’s conditions of entry, which are outside our control.

7.4 Passes are collected on the day and cannot be posted in advance. You may be asked for identification when you collect yours.

7.5 If ReedPop or the venue refuses or revokes entry because of your conduct, or because the eligibility information you gave us was inaccurate, we will not refund your summit ticket.

7.6 No part of the ticket price is attributed to the MCM Friday Industry Pass. If a pass is not issued, or entry to MCM is refused for any reason, your access to the summit is unaffected and no refund arises. Tell a member of the team on the day and we will do what we can to resolve it.

8. Programme changes

8.1 The programme, including sessions, timings, contributors and speakers, is subject to change. We will not refund a ticket because a particular contributor or session has changed, been replaced or been withdrawn.

8.2 We may change the venue. We will tell you as soon as we can. A change of venue does not entitle you to a refund.

8.3 The summit runs on Friday 23 October 2026. We do not move it to another date. If it cannot run on that date it is cancelled, and clause 13 applies.

9. Recording, filming and the report

9.1 Please read this clause. Sessions at the summit are recorded and transcribed, and we publish a report drawing on what is said in them.

9.2 By attending you accept that anything you say in a session, including from the floor, may be transcribed and may appear in the report.

9.3 We attribute contributors by name and role. We do not attribute comments made from the floor without asking you first.

9.4 If you want something you said withdrawn from the report, tell us at info@popcultr.events within 10 working days of the event. We cannot remove material once the report has gone to publication.

9.5 We also photograph and film the event for marketing purposes and you may appear in that material. If you would prefer not to, tell us at info@popcultr.events before the event or speak to a member of the team on the day.

10. Food and drink

10.1 Food and drink are not included in your ticket and we do not collect dietary information. There are places to buy food at ExCeL London.

11. Conduct

11.1 The summit runs on people speaking openly about their work. We expect everyone in the room to behave professionally and with respect.

11.2 We may remove anyone whose behaviour is threatening, harassing, discriminatory or persistently disruptive, without refund.

11.3 Selling to other attendees on the floor of the summit is not what the room is for. Sustained pitching to other attendees may be treated as disruptive.

12. Accessibility

12.1 Accessibility follows the arrangements in place for MCM London Comic Con.

12.2 MCM runs its own access registration. It is free, takes a few minutes, lasts three years, and covers accessible entry, special assistance, the quiet room and the Essential Companion pass. If you need any of that, register with MCM directly through the accessibility pages on the MCM London Comic Con website. You do not need to tell us, and we would rather you dealt with MCM than with us, because they run the show floor.

12.3 For anything specific to the summit room itself, tell us at info@popcultr.events. ICC Capital Suite and ExCeL London are step free and have accessible facilities.

12.4 Requests made less than 10 working days before the event may be harder to accommodate.

13. If we cancel

13.1 If we cancel the event you will receive a full refund of the ticket price.

13.2 We do not postpone the summit to another date. If it cannot run as planned, it is cancelled and 13.1 applies.

13.3 We are not liable for travel, accommodation or any other cost you incur. We recommend you take out appropriate insurance and book flexible travel.

14. Events outside our control

14.1 We are not liable for failure to run the event, or any part of it, caused by anything outside our reasonable control, including venue closure, transport failure, industrial action, extreme weather, public health restrictions, or the cancellation or rescheduling of MCM London Comic Con.

14.2 Where this happens we will offer you a full refund, or a place at a future edition if you would prefer one.

15. Your data

15.1 We collect your name, work email address, organisation, job title, ticket category, and any access requirements, in order to run the event.

15.2 We share your name, job title, organisation and email address with ReedPop for the sole purpose of issuing your MCM Friday Industry Pass.

15.3 We use Ticket Tailor to process bookings and HubSpot to manage contacts and send email.

15.4 We do not share your details with sponsors or partners. Sponsors receive aggregate information about the make up of the room, not individual attendee details.

15.5 We do not circulate an attendee list. Your name, organisation and job title are not shared with other attendees.

15.6 We use your email address to send you information about this event and, where you have agreed, about future editions and the report. You can unsubscribe at any time.

15.7 Questions about your data can be sent to info@popcultr.events. Full detail is in our privacy notice at popcultr.events/privacy.

16. Liability

16.1 Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

16.2 Otherwise our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid for your ticket, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or any indirect loss.

17. General

17.1 These terms are the whole agreement between us.

17.2 If any part of them is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

17.3 The terms that apply to your booking are the terms published at the point you bought your ticket. We may update these terms for later bookings, but we will not change the terms of a booking already made.

17.4 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
